Pre-Order & Cancellation Policy

At Argyll Lager, we are excited to offer customers the opportunity to reserve our products before they become generally available.
This policy explains how pre-orders work, when payment is taken and your cancellation rights.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Pre-Order Notice
This product is available for pre-order. Full payment is taken at the time of purchase to reserve your allocation from our first production run. Estimated dispatch is mid-August 2026. You may cancel your pre-order for a full refund at any time before dispatch by contacting fin@argyll-lager.co.uk.
1. Placing a Pre-Order
A pre-order allows you to reserve products that are not yet available for immediate dispatch.
By placing a pre-order, you agree that:
- the product is not yet available for shipment;
- dispatch is expected to commence from the estimated launch date published on our website; and
- dispatch dates are estimates and may be subject to change.
2. Payment
Full payment is taken at the time your pre-order is placed.
Taking payment at the time of purchase guarantees your allocation from our available launch stock and allows us to plan production and fulfilment.
An order confirmation email will be sent immediately after your purchase.
3. Estimated Dispatch
Our current estimated dispatch date for Argyll Lager pre-orders is:

While we will make every effort to dispatch orders on or before this date, production schedules, packaging availability, quality control procedures and courier operations may occasionally result in delays.
If there is a significant change to the estimated dispatch date, we will notify customers using the email address provided when the order was placed.
4. Cancelling a Pre-Order
Customers may cancel a pre-order at any time before it has been dispatched.

- your name;
- your order number; and
- the email address used when placing the order.
Where a cancellation request is received before dispatch, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method.
5. Cancellation After Dispatch
Once your order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled as a pre-order.
Your rights will instead be governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy and your statutory rights under applicable consumer legislation.
If you exercise your legal right to cancel after dispatch, you may be required to return the goods and, unless the goods are faulty or not as described, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning them.
6. Changes to Pre-Orders
If you wish to amend the delivery address or contact details for your pre-order, please contact us before dispatch.
We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee amendments once an order has entered the fulfilment process.
7. Availability
Pre-orders are accepted subject to availability.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your order due to production issues, stock shortages or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.
8. Separate Orders
Where an order contains both pre-order products and products that are available immediately, we may:
- dispatch all items together once the pre-order product is available; or
- split the shipment at our discretion.
Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed at checkout.

We are an independent Scottish brewery and appreciate every customer who supports us during our launch.
